What a beard rating reads
Five things a camera can judge about a beard: density (how thick the growth is), coverage (how even and connected it is), line and shape (the cheek line, neckline, and jaw framing), grooming (neatness and upkeep), and suitability (how well the style suits your face). It scores the look, not your ability to grow hair.
What actually improves a beard score
The single biggest quick win is the line - a clean cheek line and a correctly placed neckline (just above the Adam's apple, never on the jaw) instantly sharpen a beard, and it costs nothing but a careful trim. Density is the honest exception: you can't add follicles, and no oil or balm changes that. Patience over months, the right length for your coverage, and - for some men - minoxidil discussed with a doctor are the only real levers, and the report says so plainly rather than selling a miracle.

Can I actually grow a thicker beard?
Density and coverage are largely genetic - you can't add hair follicles, and no oil or supplement changes that. Honest levers: patience (many beards fill in over months to years), a longer style that hides gaps, and good grooming. Minoxidil helps some men thicken patchy areas, but results vary, it takes months, needs to be kept up, and is a conversation for a doctor - the report treats it as an option, not a promise.

What photo works best?

Is my photo kept private?
Scoring never stores your photo - it's used in memory to generate your result and discarded, and it's never sold or shared. The one exception is entirely yours: clicking "Save to my progress" stores that photo privately to your account for progress tracking, and you can delete it anytime.
