About LooksMeter

LooksMeter is built and run by one person, not a company. There's no team page here because there's no team - just someone who got tired of two things every existing "rate my face" option seemed to do: flatter you with a random number, or hide anything useful behind a subscription.

Why it exists

Paste a photo into a general chatbot and ask it to rate you, and it will almost always land somewhere flattering - it's trained to be agreeable, not accurate, and it has no fixed scale to place you on. Most dedicated rating apps solve the flattery problem by going the other way: opaque scoring, a paywall before you learn anything at all, and often a funnel toward procedures you didn't ask about.

LooksMeter tries to be the honest middle: a fixed rubric instead of a mood, real facial-landmark geometry measured from the photo instead of a guess, and a free result that's actually a result - not a teaser with the number blurred out.

What that means in practice

Every tool on this site is calibrated to be strict rather than encouraging - re-upload the same photo and you get the same score, and the median result is deliberately unremarkable rather than inflated, because a score that flatters everyone tells nobody anything. The live Index shows real, aggregate score distributions from actual use, not a claimed number in a blog post. There are no reviews or testimonials anywhere on this site, fabricated or otherwise. No tool recommends surgery or any medical procedure. Photos are analyzed in memory and discarded - the one exception is a report you explicitly save to track your own progress over time, which stays private to your account and can be deleted anytime.

What it isn't

Every score here is an AI-generated estimate meant for self-reflection, not a scientific or medical measurement, and not a verdict on anyone's worth. Treat it the way you'd treat a knowledgeable friend's blunt opinion - useful information, not a fact.
