What is a PSL score?
PSL is a 1-to-8 facial attractiveness scale used across looksmaxxing communities. It scores faces on four dimensions - how well your features work together (Harmony), how clearly masculine or feminine they read (Dimorphism), the sharpness of your jaw and cheekbones (Angularity), and finer details like skin and teeth (Miscellaneous) - then places you in a tier from Very Low Range up to True Adam or Eve. Most people score between 3.0 and 5.5.
What LooksMeter gives you beyond the score
Your overall score is free. A number alone doesn't tell you what to do next, though - the full report adds the category breakdown and the specific changes most likely to move your score, ranked by realistic impact - plus access to our full appearance toolkit: hair, skin, outfit, and photo analysis for LinkedIn and dating profiles, all from the same engine.
The 4 PSL categories, explained
Harmony
How well all your facial features work together as a cohesive whole - no single feature looks out of place.
Dimorphism
How clearly masculine or feminine your features read.
Angularity
The sharpness and definition of your jawline, cheekbones, and chin.
Miscellaneous
Finer details - skin quality, eyebrow shape, nose, and teeth.
What each PSL tier means
Very low
Extreme asymmetry or severely atypical features.
Low tier
Below average. Noticeable unattractiveness or poor feature harmony.
Mid tier
Average. The majority of people fall here.
High tier
Attractive and above average, but not top 1%.
Chadlite
Top 1% - model-tier looks, just below Chad.
Chad
Exceptionally rare, near-perfect facial harmony.
True Adam
The theoretical ceiling of the scale - essentially nonexistent in practice.

FAQ
Is the PSL score actually free?
Yes. Your overall PSL score, tier, and full Harmony/Dimorphism/Angularity/Miscellaneous category breakdown are all free, with no account or payment required. The strengths and weaknesses behind each category, plus ranked improvements and your potential score, are a one-time $4.99 launch-offer unlock (regular price $9.99).
What do the category breakdown numbers mean?
Each of the four categories (Harmony, Dimorphism, Angularity, Miscellaneous) is scored on the same 1.0-8.0 scale as your overall score - higher means stronger in that specific category. They're independent reads, so it's normal to be strong in one and weaker in another; the overall score reflects how they combine.
What photo gives the best result?
Use a clear, front-facing photo with good lighting, minimal filters, and your full face visible and reasonably close to the camera.
Are PSL scores objective?
No. Results are AI-generated estimates for entertainment and self-reflection, not an objective measure of personal worth.
What does the free score include?
Your overall 1–8 PSL score, tier, and full Harmony, Dimorphism, Angularity, and Miscellaneous category breakdown. The strengths/weaknesses behind each category, plus ranked improvements and your potential score, are part of the paid report.
Do I need to sign up?
No signup is needed for the free score or the paid report.
What is looksmaxxing?
Looksmaxxing is the practice of maximizing your physical attractiveness through lifestyle, grooming, and non-invasive changes - skincare, haircut, posture, and similar habits. The PSL scale is the primary system used in looksmaxxing communities to track progress and set goals.
What is a Chadlite?
Chadlite (PSL 5.5–6.0) is the tier just below Chad - top 1% attractiveness, model-tier looks. Stacylite is the female equivalent.
What is a High Tier Normie?
High Tier Normie (PSL 4.5–5.5) describes someone noticeably attractive and above average, but not in the top 1%. It's the most common looksmaxxing target tier.
