Privacy Policy

We built LooksMeter on a simple rule: your photo is used to generate your report, and nothing else. Scoring never stores your photo. The only exceptions are ones you choose explicitly - saving a result to your progress timeline, or generating a style preview on a paid report - and both are described in full below. Even then, we store the generated image, never your original upload from scoring.

What we collect

  • Your photo, briefly - it's held in memory only for the seconds it takes to generate your score, then discarded. Scoring never writes it to disk or a database.
  • Your result once it's generated.
  • Your email address, when you sign in with Google - used as described in the Email section below.
  • Payment confirmation from Dodo Payments (we never see or store your card number).
  • Basic technical logs (IP address, browser) used for abuse prevention.

Email

When you sign in, your email is stored with your account and your reports. We use it for the service itself - receipts, report access, account matters - and we may occasionally send product updates and offers about LooksMeter. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and opting out never affects your access to anything. Your email is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing.

Progress tracking (opt-in)

If you click "Save to my progress" on a result, we store that result - and the photo it was scored from - against your signed-in account, so you can compare scores over time. This is the only way a photo is ever stored, and it only happens on your explicit click:

  • Saved photos are private to your account, held in access-controlled storage, and never shown to anyone else.
  • They are never sold, shared, licensed, or used to train models.
  • You can delete any saved photo yourself, instantly, on your progress page - and request full record deletion by email as described below.

Style preview (paid, opt-in)

On a paid report you can click "Generate my style preview" to create an AI-styled version of your own photo (a haircut, grooming, skin and outfit visualization). This is optional and only happens on your explicit click:

  • Your original photo is notstored - it's sent once to generate the preview, then discarded. We store only the AI-generated image, so you can reopen it later.
  • Previews are private to your report, held in access-controlled storage behind short-lived signed links, and never shown to anyone else.
  • They are never sold, shared, licensed, or used to train models.
  • You can delete a preview yourself, instantly, with the Delete preview button on the report.

We do not sell your photo

Your photo is never sold, licensed, or used to train models, and it is never shared with advertisers. Outside the opt-in progress and style-preview features above, it is never stored beyond the single analysis you requested.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which sites link to us. It is cookieless and does not build a profile of you, follow you across other websites, or record anything you upload. We use it only to know whether anyone is finding the site and where they came from, which is why there is no cookie banner to click.

Where your data lives

Your report relies on a small set of infrastructure providers, each acting as a processor on our behalf:

  • Our database provider - stores your report record and result.
  • Our AI processing provider - a third-party AI service performs the analysis and, if you request a style preview, the image generation. Your photo is sent there to be processed and is not used to train its models. We can name this provider on request.
  • Dodo Payments - processes your payment.
  • Our hosting provider - hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics described above.

None of these providers may use your data for their own purposes.

Deletion

Photos from scoring were never stored, so there's nothing to delete there. Photos you explicitly saved to your progress can be deleted instantly on your progress page, and a style preview can be deleted instantly with the Delete preview button on its report. You can request deletion of your report record (your score, tier, and category breakdown) at any time by emailing [email protected] with your report link. We'll confirm once it's removed, typically within a few business days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we'll honor these requests regardless of jurisdiction.
