MediaPipe's 478-point FaceLandmarker detects your left and right iris centers (landmarks 468 and 473), nasal bridge (168), and cheekbone/temple widths (234 and 454). Our canvas renderer rotates and scales each eyewear silhouette to match your exact interpupillary distance (PD) and head tilt angle, then adds realistic acetate/metal frame shading, nose-bridge drop shadows, lens tints, and anti-reflective glass highlights.
How does the tool know which glasses frame shape suits my face?
Eyewear styling works by geometric counterweight: angular frames (Wayfarer, Navigator, Geometric Hex) add structure to softer Round and Oval faces, while rounded or upswept frames (Round Panto, Aviator, Browline, Cat-Eye) soften strong Square and Diamond jawlines or balance narrower chins. Our engine scores all 8 silhouettes from 0–100% based on your measured face length-to-width ratio, forehead-to-cheek ratio, and jaw taper.
How is my millimeter frame size (e.g. 51 □ 19 - 145) estimated?
