What an eyebrow analysis reads
Five things a camera can judge about eyebrows: shape (the arch type and how it fits the face), thickness (fullness of the hair), symmetry (how closely the two match), grooming (tidiness and upkeep), and suitability (how well the shape and thickness suit your face). It scores the current look, not your hair-growth potential.
What actually improves a brow score
The single biggest quick win is professional shaping - threading or waxing to a defined arch that suits your face, often visible the same day. Tinting adds visual density without growing anything. Thickness is the honest exception: years of over-plucking can permanently damage follicles, and no oil or serum guarantees regrowth - patience, careful maintenance and, for some, a modest-evidence growth serum used indefinitely are the only real levers, and the report says so plainly rather than selling a miracle.
The 5 markers, explained
Shape
The arch type - soft arch, high arch, straight, S-curve - and how well it works with your face shape.
Thickness
How full the brow hair reads. Partly genetic, partly grooming history - over-plucked brows score lower here.
Symmetry
How closely the two brows match in shape, height, arch position and thickness.
Grooming
Tidiness: defined edges, no stray hairs beyond the shape, no overgrown patches.
Suitability
How well the current shape and thickness suit your face shape and features.
What each tier means
Elite
Full, symmetric, sharply shaped and perfectly suited. Roughly 1 in 20.
Sharp
Clean, symmetric and well-suited to the face - a genuine asset.
Well-shaped
A defined arch, reasonably even, and reads as intentional.
Decent
A normal brow with normal imperfections - where most land.
Uneven
A shape is there, but with real asymmetry, gaps, or overgrowth still to clean up.
Needs shaping
Undefined or heavily uneven - the most to gain from a first proper shape.
FAQ
Is the eyebrow rating actually free?
Yes. Your Brow Score, apparent shape, tier, percentile, confidence and the full five-marker breakdown are free, with no account or payment. The written read on each marker plus a shaping plan are a one-time launch-offer unlock - the price is shown at checkout. No subscription.
Can over-plucking really cause permanent damage?
Yes, for some people. Repeatedly plucking the same follicles over years can damage them enough that hair stops regrowing there - a real risk especially from the thin-brow trends of past decades. If your brows read as over-plucked or genuinely thin, the report says so honestly rather than promising a full regrowth.
What does the eyebrow score measure?
Five cosmetic markers from the photo: shape (arch type and fit), thickness (fullness), symmetry (left-right match), grooming (tidiness and upkeep), and suitability (how well the brows suit your face). It rates the current look, not your hair-growth potential.
What's the fastest way to improve my brow score?
Professional shaping - threading or waxing to a defined arch that fits your face - is almost always the single biggest, fastest win, often visible the same day. Tinting adds visual density without growing anything. Filling in gaps with a brow pencil or powder helps day-to-day; genuine thickness change, if possible at all, takes months.
Do brow growth serums actually work?
Some have modest clinical evidence for increasing fullness over months of consistent use, but results vary person to person, gains are typically gradual and partial rather than dramatic, and any gain fades once you stop using them. The report treats serums as a genuine but modest option, never a guaranteed fix.
What photo works best?
A straight-on, well-lit photo with both eyebrows fully visible - hair, a fringe, or glasses glare can hide the brow line. No heavy makeup or filter over the brows. The confidence score tells you how reliable the read was.
Is my photo kept private?
Scoring never stores your photo - it's used in memory to generate your result and discarded, and it's never sold or shared. The one exception is entirely yours: clicking "Save to my progress" stores that photo privately to your account for progress tracking, and you can delete it anytime.
