FAQ

Is the Beauty Kit & Makeup Placement tool completely free?

Yes. Your Facial Contrast tier, Visual Weight read, undertone estimate, interactive 4-zone blush and contour blueprint, and 6-piece Everyday & Evening Beauty Kit are 100% free with no account required and unlimited re-runs.

What is the difference between Facial Contrast and Visual Weight?

Facial Contrast measures the luminance difference between your skin value and your brows, lashes, iris, and natural lip pigment (Low, Medium, or High contrast). Visual Weight comes from 478-landmark bone and feature occupancy - how prominent your eyes, lips, brows, and jaw frame read within your face outline. Low-contrast or soft-weight faces look most harmonious in sheer, diffused formulas, while high-contrast or high-weight faces carry crisp liner and saturated lip shades effortlessly.

How does it map blush, contour, and eyeliner placement to my face?

Our on-device 478-landmark detector measures your Midface Ratio, Facial Width-to-Height Ratio (fWHR), Cheekbone-to-Jaw taper, and Canthal Tilt. For example, an elongated midface gets a horizontal sun-kissed mid-cheek drape to visually shorten the central third, while a wider or softer cheek frame gets a lifted outer-cheekbone-to-temple sweep.

What photo works best for accurate undertone and contrast reading?

Stand facing a window in natural daylight with bare skin or minimal base makeup, pull hair slightly back from your cheeks and brows, and hold the camera at eye level without beauty filters or warm indoor lamps.

Is my photo kept private?

Yes. Every 478-landmark measurement, pixel contrast read, and makeup placement overlay runs 100% locally inside your browser - your photo never leaves your device.
