How to read your result honestly
Most people score between 3.5 and 5.5, and that is the normal, expected range for ordinary and good-looking faces alike. The scale is deliberately harsh compared to everyday perception, so a mid-range score does not mean unattractive - it means average to above-average on a scale built by people who rate faces critically.
Take one clear, evenly-lit, front-facing photo at eye level with a neutral expression for the most reliable read. A photo shot from below, in harsh light, or at an angle can move your score by a full point in either direction, so the photo matters as much as the face.
