What an outfit rating reads
Five things a camera can judge about a look: fit (how the garments are tailored to you), colour (whether the palette works together), coordination (how the pieces combine into one outfit), footwear and accessories (whether they finish the look), and polish (the wrinkles, tucking and finish that separate cared-for from thrown-on). It scores how the outfit is put together - not your body, and not how much the clothes cost.
It works with your style, not against it
There's no single "correct" outfit. The score judges how well a look executes what it's going for - a sharp casual fit can beat a sloppy formal one - so streetwear is graded as streetwear and formal as formal. What it rewards is intention: fit, colour and detail that read deliberate rather than accidental.

Is the outfit rating actually free?

What does the outfit score measure?
How well the outfit is put together in the photo, across five markers: fit (how the clothes sit), color (how the palette works together), coordination (how the pieces combine), footwear and accessories (whether they finish the look), and polish (wrinkles, tucking, overall finish). It scores styling execution, not the clothes' price.
Does it judge my body or attractiveness?
No. It rates the outfit and how it's styled and fitted - never your body, weight, or attractiveness, and it never comments on those. 'Fit' means how the garment is tailored to you, not your physique. If you want a facial-attractiveness read, that's the separate PSL Score tool.
Can it rate any style?
Yes. It judges how well an outfit executes the look it's going for - streetwear, formal, smart casual, whatever - not whether that style is 'good'. A well-executed casual fit can outscore a sloppy formal one. It works with your intent rather than imposing one.
What photo works best?
A full-length or three-quarter photo in even light, showing the whole outfit including shoes, with no heavy filter. A cropped selfie hides most of what's being scored - the more of the outfit the camera can see, the more reliable the read, and the confidence score tells you how much it could actually assess.
Is my photo kept private?
Yes. Your photo is used in memory to generate your result and then discarded - it's never stored, sold, or used to train models. No signup is needed for the free rating or the paid report. The one exception is entirely yours: clicking "Save to my progress" stores that photo privately to your account, and you can delete it anytime.
